Na Na Boateng

Yesterday I got a chance to meet/chill/work with Na Na Boateng. I’m not into the fashion industry, so I didn’t know him or his background before I met him, but he has done some big things in the fashion industry. What’s so dope about the situation is when we talked today he touched on a lot of things I been going through as a producer. Even though were in two separate industry’s we share a lot of the same type of grind. He told me to pick up a book called “7 habits of highly effective people” I plan on picking that up this week. Before I even read it I’m going to recommend it to who ever is reading this now only because I know it should be a good read. He's going to be in the next GIANT magazine next month so check that out also.

Lyfe is good!

Lyfe's listening party was a very intimate joint. He had some dope tracks on his album, but there was 1 of his personal asst. singing all the words right behind me (nohomo), killled my high. but it was koo he showed 1 club joint he did, but he should stay away from the clubs and stick to what he knows best, which is, uplifting, ghetto anthems and AID'S songs (and yeah he got another 1 on this album, and its mad dope!!!)....

Most of you know me but for those who don’t the names Rock City (not to be confused with the writers signed to Geffen) lol .. I’m out in LA working with DJ khalil on some projects/learning this crazy industry (and believe me its beyond crazy!!!!!) enter @ your own risk. Anywayz, I started this blog because to many people be asking me how LA is going … and frankly I don’t have all the time in the world to keep people updated on all my funny/crazy story’s so I figured well “my manager” figured we could do this Blog… this is my journeys to Los Angeles, California.
